Pai Gow Poker is a current game with ancient ancestry. Based on the ancient Chinese domino game and the current American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker marries the eastern with the western in a great game for new players.
Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the player versus the dealer, not like most other poker games that gamblers bet with other gamblers. By competing against the dealer, new players don’t have to worry about any other, more experienced people winning their moolla.
A further Pai Gow benefit is the relatively leisurely game pace, rookies are able to take their time and strategize while not having to make frenzied selections.
It is also easier to play for a very long time with basically a tiny bit of cash after all, to not win, both of your hands has to be lower than both of the casino’s hands.
Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the customary 52-card common deck and a single joker. The gambler is dealt seven cards face up and the dealer is dealt 7 cards faces hidden.
One 5 card hand and a 2 card hand must be made from the seven cards, the 5 card hand must be stronger than the two card hand. To win, a player needs both of his hand totals to be higher than the houses.
