Ah, the steam. If a poker enthusiast claims never to have looked down the shadow of a looming poker tilt – they are either lying or they haven’t been betting long enough. This doesn’t indicate obviously that everyone has gone on steam before, a number of players have wonderful control and take their squanderings as a loss and keep it at that. Now let us say you are up one hundred dollars off of a $100 deposit, and you take a huge blow in a NL game and your bankroll is at $120. You have squandered $80 in a hand where you should have picked up $200two hundred dollars when you decided to go all-in on the flop and enjoyed a ten to one advantage. And that fiend! He sucked you out on the river? – Well stop right here. This is a classic opportunity for a new player to start tilting. They just blew too much cash on one round that they really should have won and they’re agitated
