Web poker has become world acclaimed lately, with televised championships and celebrity poker game shows. Its universal appeal, though, stretches back in fact a bit farther than its television scores. Over the years several types on the first poker game have been created, including a handful of games that are not quite poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these particular games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely resembling vingt-et-un than old guard poker, in that the players bet against the bank instead of the other players. The winning hands, are the established poker hands. There is little bluffing or other kinds of deception. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to ante up prior to the croupier broadcasting "No further bets." At that moment, both you and the bank and of course every one of the different gamblers are given five cards. Once you have seen your hand and the bank’s initial card, you must either make a call bet or bow out. The call wager’s amount is akin to your beginning ante, which means that the risks will have doubled. Surrendering means that your bet goes instantly to the house. After the bet is the showdown. If the casino doesn’t have ace/king or greater, your wager is given back, including a figure equal to the original bet. If the dealer has a hand with ace/king or better, you win if your hand defeats the casino’s hand. The house pays chips even with your wager and controlled odds on your call bet. These expectations are:
- Even for a pair or high card
- 2-1 for two pairs
- 3-1 for 3 of a kind
- 4-1 for a straight
- five to one for a flush
- 7-1 for a full house
- twenty to one for a four of a kind
- 50-1 for a straight flush
- 100-1 for a royal flush
