Web poker has become world famous lately, with televised events and celebrity poker game events. Its popularity, though, arcs back in fact a bit farther than its television scores. Over the years numerous variations on the earliest poker game have been created, including some games that are not in fact poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of these games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely related to vingt-et-un than traditional poker, in that the players bet against the bank rather than each other. The winning hands, are the traditional poker hands. There is little concealment or other types of boondoggle. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to pay up before the dealer declares "No further wagers." At that point, both you and the house and of course every one of the other players acquire five cards each. Once you have seen your hand and the bank’s 1st card, you have to in turn make a call wager or give up. The call bet’s amount is akin to your original bet, indicating that the stakes will have increased two fold. Surrendering means that your bet goes immediately to the bank. After the wager comes the conclusion. If the casino does not have ace/king or greater, your bet is given back, plus a figure in accordance with the ante. If the house has a hand with ace/king or better, you win if your hand beats the casino’s hand. The casino pony’s up money equal to your ante and fixed expectations on your call wager. These expectations are:
- Equal for a pair or high card
- two to one for two pairs
- three to one for three of a kind
- four to one for a straight
- five to one for a flush
- 7-1 for a full house
- 20-1 for a 4 of a kind
- fifty to one for a straight flush
- 100-1 for a royal flush
