Ah, the poker tilt. If a poker enthusiast states never to have stared faced down the shadow of an approaching poker steam – they are either lying or they haven’t been gambling for a long time. Awful beats are bound to happen. Face that fact right now, I’ll say it again – if your sister enjoys cards, if your father enjoys cards, if your grandparents enjoy cards – They have all had poor defeats sometime. It’s an unavoidable outcome of participating in Holdem, or in reality any kind of poker.
Since we are assumingly (almost all of us) playing poker for a single purpose – to acquire cash, it would make sense that we would play accordingly to maximize winnings. Now let us say you are up one hundred dollars off of a 100 dollars deposit, and you suffer a large hit in a No Limits game and your bankroll is down to $120. You’ve lost eighty dollars in a hand where you should have picked up $200two hundred dollars when you went all-in on the flop and enjoyed a 10 – 1 advantage. And that fish! He bled you dry on the river? – Well hold it right there. This is a quintessential opportunity for a new bettor to begin tilting. They really just lost too much cash on one hand that they should have won and they are angry
