Online poker has become globally acclaimed recently, with televised championships and celebrity poker game shows. Its universal appeal, though, stretches back in reality a bit further than its TV scores. Over the years several variations on the first poker game have been created, including some games that are not in reality poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of the above-mentioned games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely affiliated with twenty-one than long-standing poker, in that the players wager against the casino instead of each other. The succeeding hands, are the established poker hands. There is no concealment or different types of deceptiveness. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to ante up prior to the dealer broadcasting "No more wagers." At that moment, both you and the dealer and of course all of the different players attain five cards. After you have observed your hand and the dealer’s initial card, you have to in turn make a call bet or give up. The call wager’s amount is akin to your beginning ante, indicating that the stakes will have doubled. Bowing out means that your wager goes directly to the dealer. After the wager is the face off. If the house doesn’t have ace/king or greater, your wager is given back, plus an amount equal to the initial bet. If the house does have ace/king or better, you succeed if your hand beats the dealer’s hand. The dealer pays out money even with your initial bet and controlled odds on your call bet. These expectations are:

  • Even for a pair or high card
  • two to one for 2 pairs
  • three to one for 3 of a kind
  • four to one for a straight
  • 5-1 for a flush
  • seven to one for a full house
  • 20-1 for a 4 of a kind
  • 50-1 for a straight flush
  • 100-1 for a royal flush
