Ah, the poker steam. If a poker gambler claims at no time to have stared faced down the barrel of an approaching poker tilt – they’re either lying or they haven’t been competing long enough. Now let us say you are up one hundred dollars off of a $100 deposit, and you suffer a large hit in a NL game and your stack is at $120. You have burned eighty dollars in a round where you should have picked up $200two hundred dollars when you went all-in on the flop and had a 10 – 1 edge. And that amateur! He sucked you out on the river? – Well stop right there. This is a quintessential choice for a brand-new player to start tilting. They basically lost too much cash on one round that they should have won and they’re angry
