Web poker has become world celebrated as of late, with televised competitions and celebrity poker game shows. The games popularity, though, stretches back quite a bit farther than its television scores. Over the years many types on the earliest poker game have been created, including a handful of games that are not quite poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of these games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely affiliated with chemin de fer than long-standing poker, in that the players bet against the dealer instead of the other players. The winning hands, are the established poker hands. There is no conniving or different types of boondoggle. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to ante up before the croupier broadcasting "No more wagers." At that instance, both you and the house and of course all of the different players acquire 5 cards each. Once you have seen your hand and the casino’s 1st card, you need to either make a call bet or give up. The call bet’s value is akin to your original wager, indicating that the risks will have doubled. Bowing out means that your wager goes immediately to the house. After the wager comes the face off. If the bank does not have ace/king or better, your bet is given back, plus a figure on par with the ante. If the house has a hand with ace/king or better, you succeed if your hand beats the dealer’s hand. The house pays money even with your wager and fixed odds on your call wager. These odds are:
- Even for a pair or high card
- 2-1 for two pairs
- three to one for 3 of a kind
- 4-1 for a straight
- five to one for a flush
- seven to one for a full house
- twenty to one for a 4 of a kind
- fifty to one for a straight flush
- one hundred to one for a royal flush
